By I know this blog seems to be filled with references to songs, I can’t help it, one of the way that God speaks to be is through songs. I have had this song playing in my head for awhile which means it is also usually playing on my ipod or phone because I just have to listen to the words over and over again.

I hear this verse and I think about the gifts that God has given each one of us. He has given us so much and yet we often just hide away and not share the gifts or treasures that God has given us for free. I know that it cuts me deep because there are many things I could possibly do but don’t because I do not think I am good enough at it or because I know that someone else does it better. However, God gives us all talents and abilities and we do not need to be the best of the best, we just need to be willing to be used by God to reach people.

To give God our lives to be used by him, this seems easy enough to do but often there are people myself included that think that maybe God does not want our whole life, just a part of it. Or maybe we are afraid to give up control of our life to God because then we are not in control. Maybe we like to be in control but until we give up control of our life God will not use us to our full potential and we will not see all the gifts that God has given us. So with that I will end with the last verse of the song
